Everybody has heard about the Oktoberfest in Munich, but did you know that we celebrate an Oktoberfest in Calella, Spain??? 

What started off as a typical German event 22 years ago, has turned quite international  over the years and we are proud to say that  have participants from 10 to 15 different  countries every year. It is an international meeting place for musicians from all over Europe and about 70% of the participating bands are regulars!!!

Calella is situated 50 km north of Barcelona and in October the temperatures are still perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean. Fun, relax, new friends and a couple of performances during the week in the tent on the beach with capacity for 3000 persons is waiting for you!

Would that not be an excellent opportunity for an autumn break for the band??? You can choose between the following weeks:

1st week:   2nd October  to  9th  October 2010
2nd week:  9th  October to 16th  October 2010
3rd week:  16th October to 23rd October 2010

The stay is normally from Saturday to Saturday, but alternatives can be arranged.

The  price for musicians, family, friends and fans - including 7 nights with full board in a 3 star hotel in Calella) is 145 Euro.  Special price for Regulars: 135 Euro.

Included in the price is also 7 pints of beer and a beer jug as well as a  gift for each band from the mayor of Calella – handed over personally by him during the opening ceremony of the festival.
